Born and raised in Ohio, Abby made a move out West in 2010. Most recently she has transplanted to Nambe, New Mexico, in pursuit of developing her career as an artist.

Abby always seeks to learn and expand her understanding of and connection to the world through new experiences; those of which often inspire and impact her art. She’s interested in absorbing firsthand the vast and dynamic landscapes, waterscapes, cultures, creatures and ecosystems of our planet. The way she lives much of her experiences through her senses she believes comes through the characteristics of energy, feeling, color, composition and movement in her paintings.

Abby’s paintings are often interpretations of her own experiences and observations through her camera lens, but sometimes they result purely from imagination or other experimental approaches. Ultimately, she creates in response to whatever form inspiration comes, and she feels a responsibility to apply herself toward serving a higher purpose and a greater good through her work.
