Cheyenne Hawkins was born in Renton, Washington. In her constant search for inspiration within herself and in life, she moved to New York City. After several years, she and her nine-year-old daughter, “Auriah Indigo,” have returned to the heart of where her father and mother’s journey began in Issaquah, Washington.
“These images are an expression of my pain, my love, and the passion that cumulate in who I am in life. I tell my story through paint, with every stroke matching every emotion. Within this free imagination, there forms a mysterious dance between shapes and figures in the ever-changing face and temperament of abstraction. I strive to create new, refreshing, and exciting art with an unwavering passion for what I do. These paintings are a glimpse into my world and a raw representation of me.”
