SANDY MEARS
Sandy has been involved with art since childhood. After a break to raise a family, she went back to it and made it a priority. She has owned and operated an antique shop and a frame shop, and through it all has maintained an interest in painting.
Primarily working on stretched canvas, she has tried her hand at many other supports, but gets the results she wants with canvas.
Her paintings have been called ethereal, mystical and peaceful. Sharing these traits with others is her joy. To touch another soul is a profound moment.
Being retired gives her time now to explore, create, experiment and evolve, and the theme is always peace and connection.
